About the Analysis
How long does an analysis take?
Most reports complete in 10-30 seconds. However, performance analysis may take longer depending on your website's size and the response time of third-party APIs we use. You can watch the progress in real-time as we analyze different aspects of your site.
What do the scores mean?
Our scoring system uses a 0-100 scale across 7 categories, weighted by their impact on SEO. Each category receives a letter grade:
- A (90-100): Excellent — Your website meets or exceeds best practices
- B (80-89): Good — Minor improvements could enhance performance
- C (70-79): Fair — Several areas need attention
- D (60-69): Needs Improvement — Significant optimization required
- F (Below 60): Poor — Critical issues need immediate attention
The overall score is calculated by weighting each category based on its importance to search engine rankings and user experience.

Using the Results
Will fixing these issues guarantee better rankings?
While fixing technical SEO issues is important, search engine rankings depend on many factors including content quality, backlinks, competition, and overall SEO strategy. Our tool identifies technical issues that can negatively impact your rankings, but improving your rankings requires a comprehensive SEO approach that includes content optimization, link building, and ongoing maintenance.
Which issues should I fix first?
We recommend focusing on HIGH priority recommendations first, as these typically have the greatest impact on SEO performance and user experience. Once high-priority issues are addressed, move on to MEDIUM priority items, and finally tackle LOW priority optimizations. This approach ensures you're making the most impactful improvements first.
Can I download or save my report?
Yes! Each analysis report includes a "View Raw Report" button that displays the complete analysis in markdown format. You can copy this content and save it for your records, share it with your team, or use it for documentation purposes.
Technical Questions
Can I analyze any website?
You can analyze any publicly accessible website. However, please ensure you have the right or permission to audit the website you're analyzing. By using our service, you agree to our Terms of Service, which include guidelines for ethical use of the platform.
Does the tool check mobile performance?
Yes! Our Performance analysis includes both mobile and desktop metrics from Google PageSpeed Insights. This includes Core Web Vitals (Largest Contentful Paint, First Input Delay, Cumulative Layout Shift) for both mobile and desktop experiences, giving you a complete picture of your website's performance across all devices.
What's the difference between mobile and desktop scores?
Mobile and desktop scores can differ significantly because:
- Network conditions: Mobile analysis simulates slower 4G connections, while desktop uses faster connections
- Device capabilities: Mobile devices typically have less processing power and memory
- Screen size: Mobile layouts may load different resources or have different rendering requirements
- Touch vs. mouse: Different interaction methods affect metrics like First Input Delay
Google prioritizes mobile performance for rankings, so it's important to optimize for both, but mobile scores often have more impact on SEO.
Can I analyze subdomains?
Yes! You can analyze any subdomain by entering its full URL (e.g., blog.example.com or
shop.example.com). Each subdomain is analyzed independently, so you'll get separate
reports for each one. This is useful for understanding how different parts of your website
perform from an SEO perspective.
What if my website is still under development?
You can analyze websites that are under development, but keep in mind that incomplete pages may show lower scores or missing elements. If your site is behind a staging environment or requires authentication, make sure it's publicly accessible for the analysis to work. Running analyses during development can help you catch SEO issues early before launching.
How do I interpret the Core Web Vitals scores?
Core Web Vitals are Google's key user experience metrics:
- LCP (Largest Contentful Paint): Measures loading performance. Good: <2.5s, Needs Improvement: 2.5-4s, Poor: >4s
- FID (First Input Delay): Measures interactivity. Good: <100ms, Needs Improvement: 100-300ms, Poor: >300ms
- CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift): Measures visual stability. Good: <0.1, Needs Improvement: 0.1-0.25, Poor: >0.25
These metrics directly impact your search rankings, so achieving "Good" scores across all three is important for SEO success.
How often should I run reports?
We recommend running reports after making significant changes to your website, such as content updates, technical modifications, or new feature launches. For ongoing monitoring, running reports weekly or monthly can help you track improvements and catch new issues early. Regular analysis helps ensure your SEO performance remains optimal.
Why do some checks show "Not Available"?
Some checks may show "Not Available" for a few reasons:
- Temporary API unavailability: Third-party services (like Google PageSpeed Insights) may be temporarily unavailable or experiencing delays
- Website restrictions: Your website's
robots.txtfile may be blocking our crawler from accessing certain resources - Access limitations: Some resources may require authentication or be behind firewalls
- Network issues: Temporary connectivity problems may prevent certain checks from completing
If you consistently see "Not Available" for specific checks, review your website's accessibility settings and try running the analysis again later.
